Voices from our LGBTIQ Authentic Leaders Program
The program was a real eye-opener for me. It allowed me dig deep into my past, uncover my passions and values and realise things I did not know about myself. It has transformed my confidence and shown me a clearer path and vision to go forward in life.
I went into this program thinking it was going to be quite work-specific: some mentor-y stuff, some leadership stuff, some tools on how to carry yourself in the office. It has been far more comprehensive. It’s been a process of understanding who I am, how I act, and what drives me.
The program has given me a fresh perspective on myself. It has taught me to challenge ingrained behaviours and beliefs, and taken me off “autopilot”. I now feel more in control of my own destiny and direction.
This program has brought me to a new level of comfort and confidence in myself and my abilities and development areas. I have a greater level of self awareness and self acceptance, and feel I am now seeing myself and others in HD. I have no doubt that I am now a better and more effective manager and leader as a result of having gained these learnings and skills.
